Born on July 29 and 30, 2018

Four of these kittens were born on July 29...the last little one was born at 12:08am on the 30th...making that the official birthday for the litter! July 30 is Bailey's Gotchya Date with us...he arrived on an airplane from Montreal July 30, 2017!

For this these, we took suggestions from our Facebook followers and then let them vote on it. Of course, they had a tie! One friend suggested we let Bailey choose the theme...so we scrunched up paper and he only played with the Summer Drinks paper...so that is the theme.

At 3 weeks, we added the Summer Drinks are getting close to their Fuzzy Stage (Limoncello has just started). We took Coat Colour photos this week and added them to the slideshow below so you can see what their colours looked like before their coats went blurry! At 4 weeks, the Boys have just left their Kitten Box during the day to explore a small section of the room. A taste of freedom and they want to be out and have the whole room already! At 5 weeks, the Boys are now eating dry food. Limoncello has just started eating some wet food too! They love to wrestle and there is always a WWF match (or two) going on! Most of the boys are already using the litter boxes....just a couple misses a day now.By 7 weeks, they are now consistently using their litter boxes! At 10 weeks, the Boys are very active and independent. They love to play with each other and with their many toys. We will often hear some fierce growling when one doesn't want to share his toy! The Boys are being neutered next week .They are ready to join their families now....just have to find them.

(formerly known as Jameson)

Blue Collar was first born at 10:08pm and weighed 87.5 grams. This little boy is named for Jameson Irish Whiskey; our Facebook followers voted for this little one's name!

At 2 weeks, Jameson was the biggest boy in the Kitten Box and had already quadrupled his birth weight. He was just starting to walk on his unsteady little legs! At 4 weeks, Jameson was the leader! He is the biggest kitten and LOVES attention. He has the exact same facial expression as Papa Bailey when he wants something...really hard to resist! At 5 weeks old, Jameson was often doing his own thing in the Kitten Room, avoiding the big WWF matches much of the time. He is quick to ask to be loved on when he sees us! At 6 and 7 weeks, Jameson was quite active and often was playing or racing around. At nap times, he was always cuddling Mojito! 8 weeks old now and Mr. Jameson was the "Cool Cat" in the litter - laid back and relaxed...most of the time. Don't get us wrong, he can get into his share of mischief too!

At 9 weeks: Jameson played hard...and "fiercely" growled at his brothers when he didn't want to share a toy. He also is starting to give the Stink Eye when he isn't happy about something. At 10 weeks old, he enjoys his canned and raw food and is just over 3 pounds already. 11 weeks: Jameson was perfectly content to amuse himself with whatever toy he could find (that his brothers aren't after)! He will wrestle with them if they deserve a beat down....but he is more likely to be chilling on his own!

At 12 weeks, Jameson joined the Khan family and they report he has totally wrapped them around his little paws! Life has not been the same in their house since he arrived!

(shortened form of Mojito)

Green collar was born second at 10:26 pm and weighed 97.5 grams. Mama didn't get much rest between these first two! Green Collar was named by Donna Evans who correctly guessed there would be 5 kittens in this litter. He has gorgeous golden fur right now!

At 2 weeks, Mojito was a very talkative and loud little boy! He was just starting to walk around the kitten box and wobbled around chasing his brothers. At 3 weeks old, he was already showing signs that he will have "Bengal Character"...he is always in the middle of everything going on in the Kitten Box! At 1 month, Mojito developed into a character! He liked to do whatever HE wanted to do...which is avoid photoshoots and play/follow Jameson. Mojito was a charming busy boy at 5 weeks; often in the middle of wrestling with his brothers. Moji loved to climb on our laps for loves as well...well, we pretended it is for loves when it is probably a shortcut to a brother he wanted to smack! Between 6 and 7 weeks old, Mojito continued to be a social boy! He plays with all of his brothers, but loves to nap with Jameson. Moji will often come racing to hide under our legs to pounce on his brothers. Mr. Mojito (8 weeks) was developing a mind of his own. This darling was a busy boy growling over his toys. He discovered wet food this week...so he growls about sharing with his brothers too. 9 weeks: Mojito tended to let his brothers play first...but sweet Moji was always first to get to the wet food bowl! He loves his noms! 11 weeks: Mojito is quiet when we are in the room, however, he is showing a social side to other family members. 12 weeks: He has a lot of patience to wait for his more rambunctious brothers to get out of the way....except for eating time - Mojito is first!

Every day, Moji's coat is coming in clearer! With his wild cat face, his developing colours, and his friendly, talkative personality, this little boy is going to be amazing as an adult! He is a very sweet boy who LOVES attention. He is content to sit on my lap and get tons of pets...and will jump onto my back if I am bent over cleaning the litter box. He is quite talkative!

MagikalMoments Simba

(formerly known as Julius

Orange Collar was born at 11:18pm and weighed 90 grams....giving Mama a very short rest between kittens. Julius' name was chosen by Bailey again. Our Facebook vote ended in a tie between Julius and Bellini....I guess we really have an Orange Julius Bellini drink!

At 3 weeks, Julius is going to be a heart-throb (if he isn't already). He has the most adorable face, the Wild Cat look, and really nice colouration! He is a sweet boy and seems pretty easy going. At 1 month, Julius enjoyed attention and playing with his brothers. At 5 weeks, his character is starting to show! He is quite good at wrestling his brothers, but is also a sweetie/ He is quite serious about his play.Julius, at 8 weeks, still enjoys attention and loves being in the midst of things. 9 weeks: Julius knows what he wants and he gets it. He plays hard and sleeps harder...he often has brothers piled on top of him and he sleeps through it. At 10 weeks, Julius is always in the middle of whatever is going on....he tries to hog the toys, eat all the food, get all the attention...whatever it is, you can be assured that Jules is involved. 11 weeks: Julius is one good looking boy! His colours are coming in fabulously as he comes out of Fuzzy Stage. 12 weeks: Julius is one busy boy growling over all the toys he can hoard in his corner!

Julius enjoyed a few months as Simba with the McRae family in Langley. Then, unfortunately, the little girl developed allergies and Simba came back to us while we all searched for a new home for him. He joined his new family on April 12, 2019...and will be remaining Simba!

MagikalMoments Cello

(formerly known as Limoncello

White Collar was born at 11:41pm and weighed 91 grams...Mama had no rest between Orange and White! She was getting pretty tired! At 2 weeks, little White Collar was given the name Limoncello, once again by a vote on Facebook.

3 weeks....Limoncello...little boy with a big long name.... was a big baby....he hollers loudly for his mama when he wasn't happy about something (like photo shoots). At 1 month....he is a sweetheart. He tends to avoid the rough-housing of his bigger brothers and is often off exploring all four corners of the Kitten Area. He isn't calling for Mama much now...he is starting to enjoy being picked up and loved on! At 5 weeks, he enjoys playing with his toys or with his brothers. At 6 and 7 weeks, little Celli is the bravest of the kittens and the first to try everything. This boy makes a beeline straight to the wet food every time we bring it in. He was first to try the baked chicken this week...and growled at his brothers for even coming near. At 8 weeks, Limoncello is a favourite! When he is near us, he loves attention. He is also a popular boy in the kitten room...often playing with or wrestling a brother. 9 weeks: Limoncello is always leading the pack in playing or eating or wrestling or demanding attention. At 10 weeks, Celli is constantly on the go and in the midst of anything going on with the kittens! He will grab and try to walk away with any wand toy. At night, he often climbs onto my lap to sit and watch his brothers. Celli is the most affectionate of the Summer Drinks boys. 12 weeks: Limoncello is a confident boy...but he doesn't seem to want to charm anyone other than us! He sits in my lap and loves being pet...but, if someone comes to see them, Celli retreats to a corner and fixes the biggest Stink Eye ever on them. He must think he will scare them all away and he will be able to stay forever. He was adopted at 13 weeks.

Celli has joined the Ali family in Surrey and they report that he is already being pampered by everyone in the home.

(formerly known as Merlot

Purple Collar was last born at 12:08am and weighed 76.5 grams....and gave Mama no time to rest. Three babies in a row and Spark was exhausted! Purple collar rarely wears its collar....there is one in every litter!

This tiny one has been named Merlot. In a beer (Molson) vs wine (Merlot) contest, Merlot won by almost 70% of votes cast.

At 2 weeks, Little Merlot is a quiet boy and often likes being with his brother, Limoncello. At 3 weeks, Little Merlot is the tiniest kitten in this litter, but he is a busy boy. He also seems to be Mama Sparky's favourite...she tends to run fast when he calls! Merlot at 1 month is a smart little boy...he was first to learn that the big white bowl had water and he could drink water! Our sweet little Merlot has been trying to be in the WWF matches in the room...we think the big brothers go a bit easy on him! At 6 and 7 weeks old, Mr. Merlot often is instigating a wrestling match with one or more of them. MerMer is also a sweetie who loves to climb all over us and get loves (while swatting at a brother....little multi-tasker!) mMr. Merlot is now 8 weeks old and has almost caught up to his brothers weight-wise. He just reached 1kg last night.

9 weeks: Merlot can be a character. He is a confident boy and stands up to his big brothers. He is often strutting around the Kitten Room checking out what everyone else is doing. Mermer loves to cuddle with his brothers during nap times and is a little bulldozer when it is wet food time!,m At 10 weeks old, MerMer is quite adventurous and will wander away from his brothers to explore a part of the house...then meow loudly to try to tell them to come quick! 11 weeks: Merlot loves to play and will often get a good grip on a toy and GRRRR at others while he fiercely tries to cart it off to a corner. 12 weeks: Merlot is always after every toy he can get. When he gets one, he tugs it off to his corner with a ferocious GRRRR (well, ferocious to him).
