Born: March 24, 2014

Luna was named for the Italian word for 'moon' and Eklypse because she is a "total eclyplse of the heart"...a little sweetheart, well, when she wants to be! Luna is independent and busy all day long, but at bed time, she loves to climb onto your lap to purr herself to sleep. If your lap isn't available, she will plop down right on your tummy or legs. She absolutely loves playing with the caps off Bic pens. She has every cap from every pen in my classroom stashed somewhere! She also loves running in the cat wheel!

Magikal Moments with Luna include her love of "puffing" her tail and fur to look BIG and doing her crab hops while playing with her caps. She loves boxes of all types and, as a kitten,  even claimed a shoebox as her personal chariot...until Simba used it for a litter box! Luna loves playing in water and often hides our sink stoppers! She often splashes the water in her water bowl all over (we keep a tote lid under it now!)....she tends to pass this trait to her offspring as well. She is our only cat who loves the vacuum and will play with it as you are vacuuming the house.

Luna was in a cat show in South Surrey in September 2014. She impressed the judges with her colouring and markings. She placed from 2nd to 4th in all of her rings!

Luna gave birth to her first litter, a single Melanistic kitten, on December 13, 2015. Meli is remaining with us as our pet! Luna and Komet welcomed the Space Kittens on May 11, 2016 - 2 boys and a girl! On September 23, 2016, Luna and Simba welcomed 7 kittens in the Wind Litter! Luna and Simba had a litter of 5 Beach Babies in June 2017! Komet and Luna welcomed 4 Super Hero kittens on October 23, 2017!

Luna gave birth to one kitten, Orion, by C-Section on October 20, 2018; we opted to have her spayed at the same time. Miss Luna is  enjoying her retirement as a very well loved house cat with our son and his wife...and now their daughter.
