When you purchase a MagikalMoments Kitten to add to your family, you rightfully expect that we will have done everything in our power to ensure you are receiving a healthy, happy, well-adjusted kitten who will give you and your family years of enjoyment. We take our commitment seriously and spend a lot of time ensuring our cats and kittens are as healthy and happy as can be. This also means that we become quite attached to our little kittens and want to ensure that when they leave our home that they will be just as well loved, healthy, and happy in your home. 

 

What do you know about Bengals:

Hopefully you understand that Bengals are not your average household cat. They have some unique needs and they can be quite unique in their ways of demanding your attention. Please read over our page on All About Bengals and research this breed carefully. 

 

WAITLIST:

We do not maintain a Wait List; we have an "Interested List" which are names of people who are interested in possibly adopting a kitten from us. They get first priority when it is time to choose. We do not currently charge a non-refundable deposit to be on our Interested List. We do reserve the right to change to a non-refundable deposit to be on our waitlist (like that at most Bengal catteries) at any time.

TIME TO CHOOSE:

We only accept deposits on kittens who are at least 1 month old. This deposit would be a "Ready to Choose" non-refundable deposit.  What this means is that you agree to adopt one of the kittens in this litter  but they are too little to choose a specific kitten yet. We like to wait until they are about 8 weeks before families choose their kitten. This allows the babies to receive their first vaccinations and have a bit of their personality showing.

Choosing Orders will be in the order the deposit is paid.  Right after vaccinations are complete, we will start contacting those on the Choosing Order List to see if anyone is ready to choose. Each person on the Choosing Order will be given 48 hours to choose their kitten (especially if others are waiting to choose a kitten). This allows us time to advertise the remaining kittens.

RESERVING YOUR KITTEN:

If you fall in love with one of our kittens and are ready to purchase, we will then require a non-refundable deposit to reserve the kitten for you. The reason it is non-refundable is that while the kitten is reserved for you, we aren't advertising it and there is often a lot of extra time spent sending you photos and videos of your kitten growing up. We will also begin socializing it according to your family situation. 

 

WAITING FOR YOUR KITTEN:

Now the hard part begins...waiting for your kitten to be ready to leave the MagikalMoments Cattery. We will NOT let any kitten leave before 12 weeks of age nor before it has recovered from its spay/neuter surgery. You will receive regular photos and video updates. We will be ensuring your kitten is developing normally and is becoming well socialized. We will have your kitten spay/neutered (for pets)  for you.

HOMECOMING:

We require cash or bank e-transfer for final payment for your kitten.

What you agree to when purchasing a kitten from us:

 

• You will provide the best of care to your Bengal. This includes a good quality food, safe housing, and regular vet care. 

​

• We guarantee the health of your kitten upon the date of purchase. You are responsible to quarantine the kitten for at  least one week: NO contact with any other pet. It is strongly recommended that you take the kitten for a vet health check within this time for your own satisfaction and protection. 

 

• Your Bengal will be indoors only and, if allowed outside, in a secure area or on a leash with a human walking him/her. Our Health Guarantee will be null and void if the cat/kitten is permitted outside  on its own. What does your cat miss out on if he is indoor only? Click here to see a list...

• Provide plenty of room for him/her in your house and lots of scratch posts and toys to entertain the kitten/cat. Bored Bengals get into trouble when trying to find something "fun" to do! Many Bengal owners provide their cats with a wheel to run on (Ferris Wheel is a good brand) so they wear off t=some of the infamous Bengal energy.

 

• We currently spay/neuter our kittens before sending them home with you as part of the package.

• We recommend you get your kitten microchipped. 

 

• You intend to be the kitten's owner for life. If you cannot keep your cat for whatever reason, please contact us first. You will be under contract to not give away, sell, or loan out your MagikalMoments Bengal without permisson from us. (We will only be involved insofar as to ensure the cat is going to a good, caring home.) You will also be under contract to NEVER place your cat in a research facility, pet shop, shelter, or pound. If you cannot care for your Magikal Moments Bengal and don't want the bother of finding it a suitable home, you can return the cat to us and we will find it a new home.

MagikalMoments Bengals reserves the right to change our mind on a kitten sale that has a deposit paid. If we see fit for any reason to decide not to place a kitten with you, your deposit will be refunded. We reserve the right, when necessary, to keep a kitten from any litter for our breeding program.
