Born: October 9, 2014

Komet was named for Comet Siding Spring (which was close to Mars on October 10, 2014) and Santa's reindeer! Seeing a comet or Santa's reindeer flying across the sky are both very Magikal Moments! We are sure seeing a Sumo wrestler would be magikal too! He orginally was going to be Komet Polaris, but the little guy ate and wrestled like a Japanese Sumo Wrestler!

Komet still loves his food but loves attention too much to want to wrestle! He is a HUGE baby and always has his "happy tail" when greeting us in the morning! He loves playing with his green mice toys and often can be heard "grrrr"ing at them! Komet loves to be out of his room playing...so much so, he learned how to open his bedroom door by jumping up and pulling down on the latch. We changed to a rounded doorknob which he also figured out how to turn by wrapping his paws around it and hanging and twisting to open it. The door now has a lock on the outside!

Even as a big stud cat, Komet is a HUGE baby. He is very friendly and loving to those he knows...but, if you are a stranger or a strange noise, he will cower in the corner. Once he trusts you, he gets his big happy tail out and meows up a storm at you! He hates going outside and loves his raw food!

Komet sired the Fire Kittens with Mystik in February 2016, and the Space Kittens with Luna in May 2016. In October 2017, Komet  became daddy to the Super Hero Litter with Luna. On October 11, 2019, Komet sired Elektra Clementine with Skeena!

Komet was neutered on December 28, 2020. After adjusting to his new status, we will be looking for a loving home for our Baby Thumper!

Komet has joined Dirk and Erna in North Vancouver on April 3, 2021. They also adopted Skeena so he will have company in his retirement!
