MagikalMoments Draco

(keeping his baby name)

The first kitten was born on December 27 at 10:15pm and weighed 97 grams. He wears a blue collar (most of the time). Draco was named in a vote on our Facebook page after the Draco constellation. Draco means "dragon slayer"...this little guy has a big name to live up to. Sumaia M. suggested Draco's name!

Draco is a sweet, quiet boy. He is quite content to play with his toys on his own. He will wrestle with and cuddle his brothers, but he is equally happy on his own. Draco takes a bit longer to trust people, so he would do best with a quieter home. With me, he is quite content to cuddle in my arms.

Draco is busy amusing the deCook family (and probably keeping them very busy too! He will be keeping his name and hopefully will be slaying the "Dragon Bunnies" under the beds for his new family!

(formerly known as Perseus)

The second kitten was born on December 27 at 10:42pm and weighed 101 grams. Perseus wears a brown collar and was named by Nicole S. after the Perseus constellation...as well as a character in her favourite novels by Rick Riordan. Perseus is a Greek hero who slays monsters.

Perseus is a busy boy. He knows what he wants and he will do his best to get it. He is our little door dasher already! Perseus does like attention and to have someone play with him. He is a quiet boy, but he does like to tell you when he is doing his business in the box! Pers likes to be first for everything! He would do well in most homes. He is our little "Porky"...this boy was 2kg by 10 weeks old! He is going be one BIG boy!

Perseus has emerged as a sweet, gentle, and loving boy now that his brothers have left for their homes. He loves to climb onto my lap to give purrs and treads. He simply loves being a lap cat! He is stealing our hearts....hopefully, he finds his purr-fect home soon before he becomes a Permanent Resident! And, on May 20, Purr-Per found his new home! We will definitely miss this little character!

MagikalMoments Lynx

(keeping his baby name)

The third kitten was born on December 28 at 12:35 am and weighed 110 grams. Lynx usually wears a red collar and is named after the Lynx Constellation. Christine S. suggested the name and our Facebook followers voted to give this name to him. As a spirit animal, the lynx symbolizes confidence, instinct, loyalty, and passion!

Lynx is a quiet boy who loves to play with his brothers and enjoys attention. He is sweet natured and always with one or more of his brothers. Lynx also enjoys sitting on my lap...at least until something more interesting comes by. Lynx would probably be a good lap cat for a quieter home...or he could be just as happy racing around with another kitten. He isn't a dominate kitten (like his brother Perseus), but he enjoys company!

MagikalMoments Leo

(formerly known as Phoenix)

The last kitten was born on December 28 at 1:10am and weighed 110 grams. Phoenix usually wears a green collar; our Facebook followers again voted on names and chose Hannah B.'s suggestion. The Phoenix constellation a small one named after the mythical phoenix - a bird that rose out of its own ashes.

Phoenix loves attention and he will ask for it! He often climbs my pant leg to be first to get my lap or cuddles (even when I am still trying to clean their litter boxes or room). He is a bit of a stubborn character! He was last to start weaning and still refuses to eat any dry food. He likes is wet food and really likes his raw food. Phoenix will do well in a home where his family can give him lots of love and attention...and be there to feed him several times a day. He wouldn't do well in a busy family that doesn't have a lot of time to pay him attention.

Phoenix has chosen his family....yes, he chose. They came to make their first choice pick and he headed right to them for loves. Our little Nixy was just too adorable for them!
